Once Upon a Time...

Wilhelmien van Nieuwenhuizen grew up in a family of storytellers in South Africa.

The family began their mornings with stories around the breakfast table; Wilhelmien was tucked into bed with a night-time tale every evening.

Family gatherings were filled with laughter and tall tales – in the vernacular of her childhood: 'Let me story you a story.'

In her adult life, she traversed the corporate world, and later the ministry services.

Yet, throughout, she remained captivated by the power of story. It was what connected her to other people and her own family.

Interestingly enough, one of Wilhelmien's favorite childhood stories was that of Heidi, the Girl of the Alps.

Today, Wilhelmien resides in the beautiful Alps in Switzerland and has become a Girl of the Alps herself!

Later, working as a copywriter for SanityDesk, listening to client stories cemented a conviction: she wanted to create a business where stories became a means to connect people to products and services, connecting their hearts.

She became a StoryFunnel Certified Marketer and a SanityDesk Software Certified Specialist.
